Talrop - Reporter EduTech Conclave in Kozhikode District

We ran the Edutech Conclave across all 14 districts of Kerala with Reporter TV, a prominent news channel in the state. More than 3,000 schools and colleges took part, represented by their management and their teachers.

The question we put to every room was the same one: Kerala needs an ecosystem of its own, on the model of Silicon Valley, so how do we build it here?

For schools, we asked how a school can raise the next generation of engineers and scientists from the classroom itself, and introduced our Inventor Park project.

For colleges and universities, we asked how a campus can produce founders on the scale of Mark Zuckerberg or Jeff Bezos, and ventures on the scale of Facebook or Amazon. We introduced our Techies Park project, a technology and entrepreneurship hub built inside the campus.

Ministers, MPs, MLAs and other public representatives attended, alongside bureaucrats including IAS officers, media personalities, entrepreneurs and education experts.
